What do I need to bring to class?
Comfortable clothes and a jacket or sweater. Everything else is provided. If you bring a handgun to class, put it in a case, box or bag, and transport it in the trunk of your car. Make absolutely sure it is unloaded--check twice. And please, don't reveal it or draw attention to it until you are in the classroom. We don't want to alarm the neighbors!
What does BASIC PISTOL cost?
The cost of BASIC PISTOL is $75.00. Two or more persons registering together may take the course for $65.00 each. This fee covers the class sessions, course book and use of a pistol on range day.
What is the refund policy?
If your schedule changes at the last minute and you don't want to send someone in your place, you will be permitted to attend the class at a later date. However, the course fee is non-refundable.
Will I be safe?
We take the safe handling of handguns seriously. While they are not inherently dangerous, handguns can be lethal when mixed with ignorance or carelessness. In the BASIC PISTOL course, you will be taught the basic rules of pistol safety and required to follow them. If you choose to be careless, you will not be allowed to complete the course. We will not compromise our safety or the safety of any participant. Any participant who exhibits an unsafe or cavalier attitude, or treats other participants with less than full respect, will not be allowed to complete the course.
